Keyfloe is a Mac app that turns your physical keyboard into an AI control surface. Press one key to trigger a chat popup, dictate, read your screen, reply to email, rewrite text, or fix grammar — without ever touching a launcher window.

Do I need an API key?

No. AI is built in and fully managed by your Keyfloe subscription. You never see, configure, or pay for an API key.

Can I assign any feature to any key?

Yes. Open the notch dashboard, click any key on the visual keyboard, and assign one of the built-in features. Each key supports four variants: press, long-press, +⌃ press, and +⌃ long-press.

Keyfloe – Your keyboard, supercharged

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Keyfloe website, applications, and services (together, the “Services”). Keyfloe is operated by Software Concepts LTD. By using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where required by law, communicated to registered users. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Access to the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Software Concepts LTD grants you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for your own personal or internal business purposes. You agree to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and not to use the Services in a manner that violates any third-party intellectual property, contractual, or other proprietary rights. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials you receive from us and are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Promotion

You grant Keyfloe permission to reference your name, company name, or logo for the purpose of describing the customer base of our Services. You may opt out of this permission at any time by contacting us at the address listed in Section 13.

3. Fees and Payment

Some Services require payment of a subscription fee. Fees, billing cycles, and currencies are described on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal date. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your subscription, excluding taxes based on our net income.

Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. If a price change applies to your active subscription, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Intellectual Property

Software Concepts LTD owns and retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including the Keyfloe name, brand, software, source code, user interfaces, design, documentation, and any improvements or derivative works. You receive only the limited right to use the Services as described in these Terms.

If you provide suggestions, comments, or other feedback about the Services, we may use that feedback for any purpose without compensation or further obligation to you.

5. Restrictions

You agree that you will not, directly or indirectly: (i) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying ideas of the Services, except to the extent applicable law permits; (ii) modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the Services; (iii) copy, rent, lease, distribute, pledge, assign, or otherwise transfer rights to the Services; (iv) use the Services for the benefit of a third party in a way that resembles a managed service or reseller arrangement without our written consent; (v) remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels from the Services; (vi) use the Services to build a product that is competitive with Keyfloe; (vii) interfere with the proper working of the Services; or (viii) bypass any measures we use to prevent or restrict access to the Services.

6. User Content

“User Content” means any text, audio, screen capture, or other data you submit to the Services. You retain all right, title, and interest in your User Content. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content to the Services without infringing any third-party rights.

We use User Content solely to provide the Services to you — in particular, to forward your request to the AI inference provider (Anthropic) and return the response. We do not retain the content of those requests after the response has been returned, and we do not use User Content to train models. Transient logs (timestamps, model used, token counts) may be retained for billing reconciliation and abuse prevention.

You agree not to submit any User Content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that contains malware. We may, but are not obligated to, review User Content to enforce these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to: send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; transmit malware; harass, threaten, or impersonate any person; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system; conduct unlawful activities; or facilitate activities prohibited by law in Mauritius, the United States, or your jurisdiction. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

8. Communications

By creating an account or contacting us, you agree that we may send you transactional emails (receipts, security notices, service updates) and, with your consent, occasional marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applied for or filed bankruptcy, or pose a security or legal risk to us or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. On termination, your right to access the Services ends immediately, and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT FROM AN AI MODEL WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SOFTWARE CONCEPTS LTD, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mauritius, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Mauritius shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.

14. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Software Concepts LTD with respect to the Services and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
