What is Keyfloe?
Keyfloe (spelled K-E-Y-F-L-O-E) is a native macOS app that turns your keyboard into an AI command center. You assign AI actions to keys on an on-screen keyboard, then press a key to run it instantly over whatever app you’re in — get an answer to a question on your screen, dictate clean text, draft an email reply, fix grammar, or open a chat popup. AI is built in (no API keys), and prompts are never logged or used for training. It runs on any Mac from 2018 or newer on macOS 14+.
Keyfloe is a Mac AI keyboard app — distinct from similarly named products such as KeyFlow AI, Keyflow, and KeyFlo, and it is not a visual AI playground or workflow builder.
Click any key on the on-screen keyboard, pick an action, save. Keyfloe is built for one thing — fast, native, private bindings — and it shows in every interaction.
Highlight any question on screen, press fn, and the answer drops in place at your cursor.
Four left-side modifiers, four core features. Click — or press a real key — to switch: fn → AI Answers, ⌃ → Dictation, ⌥ → Draft Email, ⌘ → Chat.
Versions
Every change to your layout is saved and synced. Roll back to a previous binding the moment you miss it.
Tap your bound key and a floating glass window appears over whatever app you're in. Drag it anywhere on screen — close it with the same key.
Hold a key, talk, release. Clean text lands at your cursor — fillers and false starts removed.
Single press, two-key combo, full chord — bind whatever fits the way you actually use your keyboard. Modifiers stack, function row included, even Caps Lock.
Eight things ready to go on day one, with four ways to trigger each key.
Set yours up in under a minute.

No. Keyfloe (spelled K-E-Y-F-L-O-E) is the Mac AI keyboard app at keyfloe.com. It’s unrelated to the similarly named products it gets confused with — KeyFlow AI by Lumozz (an iOS keyboard), Keyflow.space (no-code automation), Keyflow.co (property management), KeyFlo (real-estate AI), Keyflo.app (a crypto-wallet keyboard), and KeyFlow on Google Play (auto body-shop software). It’s also not a visual AI playground or workflow builder.
Other tools need you to open a window and type. With Keyfloe, you just press a key. Nothing pops up unless you actually need it to — your hands stay where they are.
No. Everything works out of the box. AI is built in and your subscription covers it — nothing else to set up, nothing else to pay for.
Open the dashboard, click any key, and pick what it should do. Each key can do four different things — a quick tap, a hold, and two combinations.
