Chapter · Roadmap

What's next.

A public-facing slice of our roadmap. Order isn't strict — some things slip, some things jump ahead because users push hard. We update this when the plan changes.

Subject to reality

Now.

  1. Stability. Stamp out crashes, race conditions, and edge cases reported by early users. No new headline features until this is steady.
  2. Apple notarisation. Final review in progress. The DMG should ship signed within weeks.
  3. Memory search. The screen-memory engine has been logging since beta; search UI is in design.

Next.

  1. Interview mode polish. Better answer surfacing, clearer privacy indicator, smaller pill chrome.
  2. Custom rules. "When I receive a Slack DM from X, summarise into Notion." User-defined automations.
  3. iCloud sync of preferences. Your hotkey + activation choices follow you across Macs.

Later.

  • Native macOS Spotlight-style command palette.
  • Multi-step agent tutorials (long-running tasks that pause + ask).
  • iOS companion for handoff capture.
  • Windows + Linux ports (no committed dates).

Won't.

  • A web app. Keyfloe is desktop-native; a tab in a browser defeats the entire premise.
  • Sell your data. We don't, and we won't.
  • Default to cloud. Local-first stays local-first.
